SANTORO: cognome molto diffuso nel Sud, specie nel napoletano ed in Sicilia orientale. Numerose le sue varianti. fu in origine un nome medioevale, tratto dall'espressione latina Dies festus omnium Sanctorum, cioè festa di tutti i Santi. (Documento enviado por Renato Santoro Bustamante)
